Food in Britain
What do British people eat? The typical British meal on Sundays is roastbeef. It’s made with roast meat , roast potatoes and some vegetables. People often use a sauce called “gravy” to accompany the food. Fish and chips is a very popular dish and ice-cream for dessert. Today fast food,take-aways and microwave food is very common.
Some British people eat alternative food. Many people are allergic to nuts or gluten or milk, and other people decide to be vegetarian. Because of the large immigrant population, and because of people’s preferences, there is a variety of foods, restaurants and shops which means that a person can choose their own diet very easily.
