January reading Roald Dahl
To welcome the new year, we are going to read a short story by the well-known British author Roald Dahl. I am sure you have heard of books such as Mathilda or Charlie and the chocolate factory. Not only does R. Dahl write books for children, but also for adult readers, and one example of this is his collection of short stories.
I have selected the short story The way up to heaven from the collection Tales of the Unexpected , because of its “twist in the tale” kind of ending and because it reflects human weaknesses with a black sense of humour. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
You can read it online ………. Click short-story online
