It was published in 1950 and it is Doris Lessing’s first novel. The story takes place in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in South Africa in the late 1940s. It is both a historical novel and love story; The Grass is Singing is a powerful psychological study of an unhappy woman and her marriage. But at the same time, Doris Lessing draws a picture of Rhodesian society; she shows us how badly many white people treated black people during that period through the story of The Turners.The plot is centered around the Turners’ life and how the poverty and their way of life change their personality. The heroine Mary, falls obsessively in love with her black houseboy, Moses. She treats him cruelly, as she treats all Africans. The story ends with Mary’s madness and murder.

From my point of view, the book is really entertaining. It is so gripping that I couldn’t put it down. The most entertaining chapter is number two, when the narrator tells about the moment  Mary and Dick met each other.I think it is easy to understand and the language was not too difficult; the book is highly recommendable. I would like to recommend it to people who like novels and complicated and temperamental characters.

Título:Le blé en herbe

Reseña: Le livre de Colette et dont le titre est ´Le blé en herbe raconte l´histoire de Phil,16 ans,et Vinca ,15 ans.Ce sont des amis d’enfance,les deux adolescents qui passent leurs étés en Bretagne avec leurs  parents.

Il s’agit d’un roman qui évoque la sensualité,l’initiation á l’amour et à et à la vie et surtout le passage de l’enfance à l’adolescence´quand une amitié se transforme en amour.

Un petit roman très poétique et  très sensible.Une oeuvre qui parle sur la nature et les relations humaines.

Reseña: Je trouve ce livre très émouvant, à mon avis toutes les personnes peuvent profiter de cette œuvre pas seulement les enfants. Il y a beaucoup d’action, les personnages sont très amusants, ils font beaucoup des méchancetés.

Finalement tout est bien parce que tout finit bien.

Reseña: Tintin, accompagné par son chien Milou et par le Capitaine  Haddock, veut visiter son ami Tournesol. Ils vont chez lui mais il n’est pas là. Il est en Syldavie et veut que ses amis aillent avec lui.Le voyage est un peu bizarre parce que les mesures de sécurité sont extrêmes. Ils  rejoignent Tournesol qui leur explique qu’il va faire un voyage sur la Lune. Il a créé un moteur exceptionnel qui fonctionne avec de l’énergie nucléaire et il va l’utiliser dans la fusée.D’un autre côté, il y a un complot pour que l’objectif de la mission n’ait pas de succès. Finalement, ils peuvent faire fonctionner la fusée et ils sont dedans en direction de la Lune. Reviendront-ils sur la Terre ? Qui est l’espion ? L’histoire continue dans le livre « On a marché sur la Lune »
