Languages, a vehicle for success

La primera reunión, de puesta en marcha de este proyecto Comenius, se llevó a cabo en el Centro educativo ÖZEL AHMET ULUSOY LISERI en Ankara (Turquía), centro coordinador del Proyecto.

Durante los días de trabajo de este encuentro internacional se trataron una serie de asuntos relacionados con la puesta en marcha, organización y desarrollo de este proyecto a lo largo del periodo 2007-09.
Los acuerdos en esta primera reunión de puesta en marcha del proyecto se pueden resumir:
El resto de los encuentros internacionales de este proyecto se realizarán con la participación de alumnos.
El segundo encuentro se llevará a cabo en Gijón, a finales de Abril 2007.
Durante el curso 2008-09 se realizarán otros tres encuentros en Finlandia, Turquía y Hungría. Precisamente fue la inclusión de este país en nuestro proyecto lo que motivó un cambio en la organización general, dada la necesidad de incluir un meeting en Hungría.
Los alumnos de cada institución prepararán una Power Point Presentation sobre su ciudad, región o país para exponer en el meeting de Gijón.

After participating in our first Comenius project last academic year, with schools from Loreto (Italy) and Lancaster in England; this project is, without doubt, another wonderful opportunity to know, study and work on the different possibilities of language knowledge application. 

The main aim of the present Project is to increase communicative language competence among the European partners and to encourage teaches across the partnership to share resources and teaching methods in order to improve the quality of delivery in modern foreign language lessons.           

We think the project will be a stimulus to add ideas and value to what is already being done in each school so that students can feel they are in tune with other young people in other parts of Europe.
