Abstract Expressionism, Impressionism and Pop art

Abstract Expressionism:This type of art, was created in 1940 in the United Estates.  After 20 years,It was spread all over around the world. The characteristics are, that normally the work with oil on canvas. Thay often use limited colurs, like white and black, or only the primary colours like magenta, Yellow and cyan.     Some important artist are ; Karel apple, William Brice, Alice Baber….     This is an example of a picture in Abstract Expressionism.Impressionism:It was born from the XIX century , in all Europe, but mainly in France. It tries to show the light and the instance without thinking how it is like. Like in the abstract expressionism , it uses the oil, but the try to use more type of colour with more pigments. One of the most important painters  was, Claude Monet. But also there are other painters like, Joaquin Sorolla, Camille pisarro, Edouard Manet… This is a picture of Monet.Pop Art:It was an important movement  of the XX century. It is characterised of the images that they use, are often taken by the advertisements, magazines… In some countries this type of art is considered like a parody because of the elements thath they use, Some artist are: Jim Dine, Alex Katz, Jasper johns.. and more. And this is an example of the Pop Art.
