ARGUMENTOS PARA EL DEBATE

Aquí iremos anotando los argumentos que vayais enviado. Los organizaremos en 4 grupos y en castellano e inglés. pero antes….observa bien las fotos y juega con tu imaginación:
1.- A favor de la instalación de aerogeneradores
| No dependemos del exterior, de otros paises para obtener energia | We don’t depend on other countries to get energy. | |
| Son energias limpias | they are “clean-green energies” | |
| Los aerogeneradores evitan la produccion de CO2 | Wind turbines avoid the production of Co2 | |
| Una vez construidos, la energia producida no cause efecto invernadero | once it is built, the energy it produces doesn’t casue the gren house effect. | |
| Aunque losaerogeneradores son muy altos soloocupan un extension pequeña de tierra lo que significa que el espacio bajo ellos puede ser usado especialmente en agricultura | Although the wind turbines can be very tall, each takes up a small plot of land, this means that the land below can still be used specially as farming | |
| A mucha gente le gusta ves estas granjas aereas | Many people find wind farms an interesting feature of the landscape | |

2.- A favor de la instalacion de aerogeneradores pero que éstos sean de tamaño reducido
| Nos dejarian ver la Torre Eiffel. No la taparían | We could still see the Eiffel Tower. the wind engines will not cover it | |
| Hay aerogeneradores de todos los tamaños, y para conseguir la energia necesaria para la Torre Eiffel, las pequeñas son suficientes | wind turbines are available in different sizes, and to get the energy needed to light the Eiffel tower, small turbines are Ok | |
| Cada aerogenerador pequeño, nuevo ahora en el mercado puede producir la energia necesaria para 475 casas de tamaño medio | Each small turbine now, new on the market, can produce enough electical pwer to provide the needs of 475 standard size homes | |

3.- En contra de su instalación, como habitantes de la ciudad
| Son horribles de feos, y mas al colocarlos en un sitio emblemático | They are really ugly. And they will make ugly the place were they are | ||
| Seguro que aumentan las tasas porque habrá que pagar su instalación. son muy caros | Maybe we have to pay more taxes if they are installed here. They are very expensive. | ||
| El lugar quedaria con menos luz, ya que las aspas darian sombra | the place will be darker because of the shade of the turbines | ||
| Pueden matar gente en caso de accidente. Los fragmentos de las aspas sise rompren pueden alcanzar cientos de metros en un area urbana | in case of an accident, They can kill people, fragments of the turbine can reach hundreds of metrs and they are installed in an urban area | ||
| Alto riesgo de incendio y dificil de extinguir a 100m de altura y ser fuego electrico | High risk if fire and difficulto to extinguish it as it is at 100m high, and it is an electric fire | ||
| gran contaminacion acustica | great acustic pollution. | ||
| Atraen rayos y tormentas | They attract rays and storms | ||
| Se necesitan construir nuevas lineas de alta tension para coducir la energia obtenida y en el centro de la ciudad | New high voltage cables has to be installed to conduct the new energy generated, in the centre of the city, and that is dangerous | ||
| Los aerogeneradores solo funcionan el 25% del tiempo, Solo cuando hay viento |

| El coste de construccion e instalacion es muy elevado, $1.600.000. Lleva mucho tiempo recuperar la inversión | The cost of construction and installation is near $1600 000. It takes a long time for the wind turbine to pay bak its cost |

4.- En contra de su instalación por moticos de historia y turismo
| Perderemos visitas a la Torre Eiffel que no saldrá bonita en las fotos | We won’t be able to take good photos of the Eiffel Tower and tourists might not come again | |
| Son muy altos. Miden 100 m | They are 100m tall! | |
| Creemos que este sitio emblematico debe ser dejado sin tocar, al natural, para disfrute de todos. | We feel the this fantastic place should be left untouched, in its natural for for everyone to enjoy | |
| Son muy ruidosos. Cada aerogeneradorgenera un ruido igual al de un coche familiar a 80 km/h | They are very noisey. Each one can generate the same level of noise as a family car travelling at 80 km/h | |
