INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Every 25th November we commemorate “No Violence against Woman Day”.

This year we are going to talk about Mirima Makeba, as well known as ‘Mama Africa’ because she was from South Africa.

She was a very inspiring person. Although her life was not easy at all, she became a great singer and a very important civil rights activist.

Let’s know about her and her country: MIRIAM MAKEBA AND THE APARTHEID

And sing along her hit song: PATA PATA. Lyrics and translation.

Do you dare to dance it?
