halloween

Halloween, a corrupted contraction of “Hallow evening” is celebrated on 31st October every year. Nowadays people have lots of fun, they dress up, go trick or treating and carve pupkins to make jack-o-lanterns.

But, do you know about the origins of this pagan holiday?. Check here how the Celts, the Chistians and later on the Americans celebrated Halloween

IS THERE ANY SIMILAR HOLIDAY WHERE YOU LIVE? DO YOU CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN? WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT IT?. SEND YOUR COMMENTS

i like it so much

I think this about halloween :
it is another idea of the malls for business, like Saint valentine. It is a religious holiday that became a business.

Halloween is a very good party, because the childrens are very good looking, in the night, with their pumpkins.

Thanks for your comments. Be careful because the word “childrens” is wrong. You must say “childen”.
Anyhow, yes, Halloween is a nice holiday because people wear masks and dress up and go trick or treating.
But do you celebrate any similar holiday in your country?

Hello,

I like Halloween because it is a funny party. In Spain we have holiday because it is “the day of the lates”. I celebrated Halloween with some friends in the district of my aunt, we put pumpkins in all street. The next day we cleaned all.

Nice comment Javier but I don’t understand what “the day of the lates” is. Can you explain it, please?
