Remember hurricane Katrina two years back? New Orleans was devastated after that and the whole world tried to help all the people who suffered the consequences, but after all this time most of the locals are still fighting the insurance companies. According to the New York Times, ‘insurance companies may have paid out $11 billion to Louisianians since Hurricane Katrina, but they are a new villain in people’s tales of recovery.’
