Last year, while I was browsing the Net looking for websites I could use with my students, I came across Freshtopia. I loved their fun and entertaining videos, in which they show you how to make yummy and healthy dishes, among many other things. I contacted them to ask them if they would mind me using their videos in my classes and they just loved the idea and they even included a specific feature on Luarca on their vlog, regaling us with their own very special version of paella.

A few days ago, my class and I reviewed all the past narrative tenses and how to link the past to the present by using present perfect. The point is that whenever I have to deal with this tense, the same song always comes to my mind, namely I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, by U2. This legendary band released a video for that song back in 1987, a lot of water under the bridge… Anyway, if you click on “activity” below, you will get to a gap-fill exercise in which you will get the chance to enjoy that beautiful song.
