You were right on the money, Carmen. This film was released in 1984, and for some people it is Wim Wenders’ best movie. I have both the soundtrack and the DVD in English, so I’ll bring it to you next time we meet. I never get tired of it, and I see it at least once a year, when I’m in the mood for it. The song called “canción mixteca”, a traditional tune arranged by Ry Cooder, which is the music you can hear in the scene when they are watching old home made movies, is just something else.

I loved that film too! I cried my eyes out!! I saw it long, long time ago - could it be 20 years ago? better not to think about it! - but I think I would like to watch it again, this time in Engish. Thank you for reminding me of it!
