My choice for the debates was about how videogames and classic toys take part in the entertainment and free time of children . That is an item directly related to education and children’s development.
Nowadays it’s very common to arrive home and find our children playing with videogames or electronic appliances instead of being playing with cars, dolls, puppets or even playing football in the parks or streets. The technology has knocked down to the tradition in the entertainment world. Is it true that Teddy Bears had been beaten by Play Stations? Let’s see the opinions about it.
Twelve students posted their opinions about which are the proper toys for children. Almost every of them agreed with the idea that the modern videogames can be dangerous for children’s minds. We can resume their reasons saying that videogames bring about a lack of social relationships between children of similar ages and cause that children’s brains get stunned. They supported classic toys because they are a good way to make children think and they develop their mind and creativity very fluently.

The motion was presented with a real case, the one about the violent and arrogant girl in the Spanish village of “La Calzada”. This case is not the only one, but maybe it is an example of the reality that some parents don’t think about. The aim of this report is to describe the results of the opinions written by the people who commented in the blog. Apparently people thought that the youngsters are more violent now because there is a general absence of rules in their own houses, and this fact is affecting their everyday life.
Talking about violence Daniel wrote: “Maybe there is as much violence as 20 years ago, but nowadays these things are reported”, the opposite idea that I wrote in the blog: “20 years ago children didn’t shout to their teachers, nowadays some teachers are threatened by students”, idea that was defended also by Nuria Lagunas . The reality is that when my father went to school the teachers were more powerful than nowadays.
The reality is that the existence of violent studentsb shouldn’t be considered as normal, as Rebeca wrote. What drives children to this behaviour? Different opinions try to answer this question: “the people who have a poor self-esteem try to stand up without looking to the way”, “the parents are extremely permissive with their children” and “the children don’t mind what their parents say”. Maybe the problems are caused by a mixture of these reasons.

Considerable controversy surrounds the issue of parenting by gays and lesbians.
People are born free and equal in terms of rights and dignity. In almost every country worldwide people often suffer from the discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.Furthermore, in the past sexual minorities were persecuted in many countries including the application of death penalty for sexual acts between consenting adults.
The aim of this report is to outline the general ideas collected among all the comments posted by the students.
Homosexual adoption is a growing lifestyle that many people need to accept as any other traditional family. This topic is of growing importance because nowadays generation is raised in many kinds of households that one may not be accustomed to. Many researches have proved that a couple of the same sex can provide a nice environment for a child to grow and develop in. It doesn’t matter if their parents are heterosexual, gay or a lesbian couple as long as their children receive loving care.
The Church’s refusal to make possible adoption to homosexuals is based on a determination that the couple is not “duly prepared” to provide the child with proper upbringing, although it is not the sexual orientation that is at issue, but the parental system of moral values in our society. Many children would give anything for a warm bed to sleep in, who pray every night to hear the words “I love you” from someone who cares for them. What a terrible feeling not to have a place to call home.
