Yes, it’s true. I am incredibly lucky to have colleages and friends from whom I learn a lot.
In our lesson today, some of you wanted more and more practice. Well, I have a very close friend in EOI Avilés called Mª José who has some printable exercises you can do. I’m sure she will be delighted if you find them useful. Her blog is Shall we blog? If you want to do the printable exercises click here. Have a look at the other exercises she has created, and enjoy yourself.
Thank you, Mª José.
I also have to thank Carmen (EOI Mieres), Maria (EOI Oviedo) and Javier (EOI Luarca) for their patience and support. They are the ones who told me about ELLLO. I haven’t tried it myself, but since they recommended it, I’m sure it’s great. I’ve just added it in USEFUL LINKS.
I hope you have done the revision I told you to do on Reported Speech and verb patterns in general. In case you want to do a bit more, go to CLASSROOM. I have uploaded a couple of exercises for you. Remember also to have a look at USEFUL LINKS page where, I’m sure, you’ll find something else to help you improve your English. Good revision!
You can do some vocabulary revision from module 7 in our book.
You can do some practice on verb patterns: verbs that are followed either by infinitive (with ot without to) or by -ing form. Each of the exercises has been uploaded separately, so if you try to use the navigation bar to go to the next one, you won’t be able to do it. You’ll have to go back to CLASSROOM and select the next one. I’m sorry about the inconvenience, but sometimes I seem to have communication problems with ICTs.
Surfing the web you can find lots of exercises to help you with your English.
I found these to do a bit of practice on passive voice just with a click of the mouse. If you find something else, let us know.
Now try with these: exercise 1 exercise 2
I have uploaded the exercises we did about collocations. I know it is dificult, so the more practice you get, the better for you. Go to RESOURCES and click. A PDF document will be available for you.
