Hello,
As some of you requested I’ve just uploaded the key to the revision exercise we did the other day. Click here and use it wisely.
Just a note to remind you that after the long “puente” (or short holiday) we will meet again on 3 May and we’ll celebrate it. You will have to do a WRITING EXERCISE.
As I told you, I’m off for a Conference so we won’t have a lesson next Thursday. I know you have homework to do, but you can do a bit more if you go to RESOURCES and click on The Future. There you will find three extra exercises for you to do on-line. I hope you find them useful!
Hello my dearest students,
On Thursday 19th April, Robin Webb will be back in our school again. This time the title of his talk is PATHS THROUGH POP MUSIC. I’m sure we´ll have a great time and we’ll learn lots of new things about music. The talk will take place at the School Library at 4 o’clock, so we can have our lesson for 30 minutes and then we’ll join him. It’s going to be a wonderful listening exercise for you. After the talk, and as homework for you to do at home, you’ll have to write a short review (approximately 100 words) which you can either post here or give to me in our class. But don’t forget! IT IS COMPULSORY THAT YOU WRITE YOUR REVIEW. I will mark it as one of the writing exercises for this term. Enjoy the talk!
For those of you who want to do some more practice of conditionals click here. It is a multiple choice exercise which also provides explanations. Isn’t it great? If you come across something you think can help us, do please write it here.
Dear students,
Because of my sick leave we have lots of things left to do. Thanks to computers this can be easily solved and you can do some work at home.
In other words, you have HOMEWORK to do. And the homework is CONDITIONAL SENTENCES. You are smart students so you won’t have any problems. Access to your homework is quite easy. Just click on RESOURCES and there you choose CONDITIONAL SENTENCES. The next step is just following the instructions. You may think that this is an easy way for you not to do your homework… you’re wrong. The moment you finish your exercises, you post a comment for your teacher, that is, for me. This way, I will know who has done it and who hasn’t. Needless to say, your comment has to be in English! And if you don’t post the comment for me I’m afraid I’ll be pestering you to do so!
Blogging is cool, isn’t it? Why don’t we take advantage of this new tool and learn some English?
Here you will find exercises, links and so on for you to go on learning outside the
classroom while at the same time, hopefully, you can have some fun. I’ll try to do my best, because this is my first blog-experience so I apologise in advance for the possible mistakes.
I really hope we can work all together to make something useful and fun of it!
