“No violence, peace, no war, friendship, solidarity…” are nice things to say and we have been thinking about them in our English lessons.

During this week 5th and 6th levels  have learnt a little bit about “The United Nations”.

The U.N.O. BUILDING in NEW YORK CITY:

Who is BAN-KI-MOON?

What is The UNICEF?

Look at the photograph of “THE KNOTTED GUN”. It´s a sculture in the United Nations gardens in New York. This “NON VIOLENCE” sculture was created by the Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd and given to the United Nations by the Luxembourg government in 1988. The inspiration to make the sculture was the death of John Lennon
