The title belongs to one of our english adapted novels in our school library. As we didn´t have the audio of the story -only the book- we decided to record it ourselves. It was a good way to practice reading and learn new vocabulary and grammar things with the story. It fits as well with our project to enphasise reading among the students, this time in English. The sound comes from the students´ voices in fifth grade. At the moment they are also recording the second part, but it has not been finished yet.

This last week some students brought to school funny pumpkins. We have more articles in this blog about the custom of decorating a pumkin in the preveus days of the celebration of Halloween (October 31st). We put some photographs about this year here, but you can also revise what we have done in other occasions clicking on the following links:

We present here a film about Halloween things with recordings made in class.
The soundtrack of this film is a well known piece of orgam music made by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach. The title of the piece is Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565
In the following film our pupils in 3rd grade present vocabulary about animals. All the recordings of the animal names were made in today´s English lesson.

The student Paula Peláez Martínez made this beautiful banner for our English classroom door. The message is full of meaning. Thank you so much, Paula!!!. You are a nice girl, very kind and very polite too!!!. Great work!!!
It´s a hard task for Spanish children to spell vocabulary using the English alphabet. In the following film we show some examples made by the students in fifth grade. The recordings were made in several consecutive English classes and all the students in this level participated by recording at least one word. They are not reading it, everything was recorded live and direct in class, but we have omitted mistakes and repetitions. Good work children!!!. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
