SHAKESPEARE!
![]()
We’ve played some Shakespeare today in 2º B!
Chris brought us an extract from Macbeth,
and we played it.
We’ve even done background effects!
Three of us were
the witches,
and the others played the part of
the wind,
the owls
and a barking dog.
The result was amazing and it sounded really scary!!
We enjoyed it quite a lot

To be or not to be, that is the question… Or is it? Humph…
I love Willy Shakespeare!

Macbeth (…)
Will all great Neptune’s ocean wash this blood
Clean from my hand? No; this my hand will rather
The multitudinous seas incarnadine,
Making the green one red.
I can clearly recall lovely Mrs Shaw reading (almost performing) this passage.
A pleasure to co-operate, Montse!

Sorry if I sound stupid, but I have a question:
How did people in Shakespeare’s times get their ears pierced? Did they get infections? I am planning to get my eyebrow pierced and I would like to do it safely.
Some of my teachers do not agree with my piercing plans, but I think Shakespeare looks fairly elegant like that. He resembles some of the characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, don’t you think? (But Marlowe’s my fav, anyway)
