OH, ROMEO, ROMEO!

W e liked the love theme so much, that we played a bit of “Romeo and Juliet”, by Shakespeare.
We found the English spoken at the time quite old-fashioned,
and difficult to pronounce , but it was great fun anyway!

The History of Groundhog’s Day:
When German settlers arrived in the United States
 in the 1700s,
they brought a tradition known as Candlemas Day. 
 Candlemas Day came at the mid-point
between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. 
Superstition told that if the weather
 was nice on that day, the second half of
