In America, according to Kathryn Vanney, people sing lots of Christmas carols. Carols are special Christmas songs.

In Tineo we sang some of these christmas carols.

We wrote postcards, made wishes for the new year and decorated our own Christmas Trees in a very special way.

W e liked the love theme so much, that we played a bit of “Romeo and Juliet”, by Shakespeare.
We found the English spoken at the time quite old-fashioned,
and difficult to pronounce , but it was great fun anyway!
